Penicillin-Streptomycin is a broad spectrum bacteriostatic and bacteriocidal agent with activity against both Gram Positive and Gram Negative organisms. Penicillin acts by inhibiting bacterial cell wall synthesis. Streptomycin inhibits prokaryote protein synthesis by preventing the transition from initiation complex to chain-elongating ribosome and causes miscoding.

Storage and Stability
This product is stored at -20°C and should be used within two years of the date of manufacture. Once thawed, remaining portions can be re-frozen or aseptically dispensed into sterile containers for future use.
